AIG Bailout – Conflict of Interest?

I wonder how many of our 'elected' lawmakers have their retirement funds in AIG. That would be like the fox guarding the hen house.

Seems like there should be a major investigation and find out who should NOT have been allowed to vote on the bailout package for AIG.

Now all of a sudden they're going to try and recover the money. I think there should be some serious prison time for the higher ups in AIG and some of the politicians that were in on this AIG bailout from the start.

I think anyone in that organization who took a bonus from OUR tax dollars should pay a really hefty price for what is basically fraud and misappropriation.

Remember this fiasco the next time you vote for your lawmakers.

How about a law for full disclosure of financial interests before you can get on a ballot?

Oh yeah, we might actually have decent, honest people to vote for, for a change.

Maybe even have people in office that actually care about how our country is run and keep things like this from getting out of hand in the future.
